Holy Week Pilgrimage
I was very much looking forward to the Holy Week Pilgrimage and was determined to prove the doubters wrong. Did they really believe that 32 miles of walking was beyond David and me? In fact, the joy of the pilgrimage exceeded all my expectations. The weather was fine the whole week. Many people joined us to walk and I got to know new people and gained a better knowledge of the local area. We reminded ourselves of the beauty of our locality and gave thanks to God for his church in this area. We were energised by the welcome at all four primary schools, refuelled by generous hospitality and also worshipped in all team churches in Holy Week. Thank you to all who supported us through prayer, welcome and walking alongside us. Thank you to the schools for embracing the mad idea so thoroughly and thank you God for such as wonderful place to work and worship.
