NEWS
Mothering Sunday is
approaching as I write- a happy family day in the middle of Lent.
In Drimpton four Lent Lunches were held by St. Mary's and Netherhay Methodist
Churches in the Village Hall in aid of the two churches and four Charities.
A choice of soups, bread, cheeses, and biscuits, grapes, tea or coffee.
Nearly 40 met to enjoy the lunches and fellowship.
This year the diocesan
Lent Study was Fully Alive - Living the Life of Faith in Jesus. God's
call to Faith is pure gift. God loves us as we are. Each session includes
study of the Scriptures, reflection and discussion. Each member participates
which can result in increasing our faith.
We have been fortunate
in the weather here - plenty of sunshine - and we look forward to Spring.
Easter Blessings.
